Call for Paper and Panel Proposals

ACTC invites the submission for papers and proposals for our 2023 Conference to be held March 30 – April 2^nd at the Renaissance Addison Hotel in Dallas Texas.

This year’s conference is sponsored by Austin College and the Jon E. Owens Foundation. It is co-sponsored by The University of Dallas, Baylor Honors College, and the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture.

Our conference theme is: Meaningful Exchange: Core Texts, Conversation, Commerce and Migration.

Papers must be take no longer than fifteen minutes to present (roughly five pages) and must include substantial engagement with a primary text. Papers may be entirely theoretical or exegetical, or they may also engage in more practical questions of pedagogy or curriculum.

Panels should include three to five participants and no more than two can be from the same institution.

Acceptance decisions will be made on a rolling basis beginning immediately.
