The Western Culture Program at Hampden-Sydney College is a three-semester interdisciplinary sequence that introduces students to some of the major ideas and events of western civilization. The program investigates key historical events and people, religious doctrines, philosophic principles, literary works, and artistic creations from early civilizations to the present day.
